Will You Give to Redeemer this December?

At Christmas, we remember that our generous God has given us the most costly gift imaginable: his own Son, Jesus. Our giving to the church is a joyful response to God’s grace (2 Corinthians 8:8-9).

We give to the church financially so that the gospel that has come to us and brought us from darkness into the light might go out to welcome others into the feast and family of Jesus.

Is 2017 a strategic time to give?

The tax reform bill recently signed into law might make 2017 a strategic time to give because of its ramifications on charitable contributions and itemized deductions.

Redeemer is not in a position to offer tax advice (talk to your financial planner or tax advisor). And we give as an act of worship in response to God’s grace regardless of changes in tax law. But we encourage you to prayerfully consider if this might be a good time to exercise strategic stewardship that will bear more fruit in the future.

What will ministry and mission look like at Redeemer in 2018?

Redeemer’s budget for 2018 will be largely determined by our 2017 giving, especially how things finish this December.

Thank you to those who give so faithfully and generously to support Jesus’ mission through Redeemer!!

If you have not yet begun giving to the church, now is a perfect time to start!

Three ways to give:

1. Give your gift at church on Sunday, December 31st

May God be pleased “to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us” that he might receive “glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

(Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV)
